A quick one here on the weekend I walked through the park and saw happy slapping occur to this girl (young 20's) her man was with her and basically he put all three of them on the floor - really hurt them.

Do people agree this is the correct reaction - this chap really went crazy, mind you his lady was crying in pain.

Anybody stupid enough to get caught up in this happy slapping craze, deserves a good hiding in my book. Plus how could her fella know that they weren't planning something more.

I bet they'll think twice before they do it again. Would probably just have been given an asbo if the law had become involved.

They started the violence on an unsuspecting girl, open season as far as I am concerned.

Although some will argue that minimum force should be applied, if you go out with the intent of "Happy Slapping", then you deserve all you get in response, bet they won't do it in a hurry again.

Also in the heat of the moment, it's difficult to determine what is enough when you respond, easy for the dodgering judge in the court 6 months later saying something like "You should have only used reasonable force", as they do.

If its the one I'm thinking of, a lot of people called fake on that.

But then some people have a hobby of calling everything fake, thinking it makes them cool.

Was it better than this?

I am very happy at reading this.
There won't be many dissenters here, that's for sure.
Of course it depends what you mean by "really hurt", but provided they are alive and able bodies and have just had a bloody good hiding then I think that is the perfect response.

And that's what actually happened.

Welshbeef watched the video at the weekend and decided to pretend that he was actually in the park when the 'incident' occured.

He then fell asleep and when he awoke..... biscuits.... tea..... yada yada yada

Well he didnt kick them when they were on the floor which is where I draw the line. Deserved beating - they probably didnt expect such a reaction lets hope they learnt a lesson.

He did knock one of them out - dropped like a sack of potatoes.
