One has to wonder why you need a charity for what is just about a national disaster.

The government should be bending over backwards to help those in peril, not that we do it in the UK.

Tried that web address but it wants an Australian state in the address, or will not allow you to proceed.

Hmmm I'm not sure then. have you tried the UK Red Cross site?

130 dead so far. Not sure on how many injuries but the burns units ran out of Morphine this morning and are calling for blood donors.

I went back on the Australian Red Cross site and they do have an option for people living outside Aus to pick and I've now done that.

I have no ties to Australia other than as a nation they share our values and have always stood shoulder to shoulder with Britain in times of adversity.
