...it seems a steal at under £11k and as they're a dealer they'll probably accept a slightly smaller offer.

Looks nice and a wad full of paperwork aswell.

As usual, check usual things like clutch and slave, shocks, when did it last have the big service including CAM and Finger checking stuff, check condition of oil on dipstick, is the coolant nice and clear? Get a look underneath chassic should be in good nick with no visible leaks (they all cna leak a little bit but spattering underneath of any type of fluid is a no no).

If this is the original engine it may still be okay, but nothing to hurt by getting it checked by a specialist.

There are some bargains out there if you can find a good Speed Six Cerbera.

Seems like a decent car, like above check all the usual stuff and see if the car is well serviced, even better if rebuilt engine.

Last but not least, make sure it drives right for you. they are all different.

Couldnt comment on the mechanicals - you need to see it in the plastic for that.

However it looks sublime! I love the reflex and the interior compliments it perfectly!

Mines a 2000, but it came with later style pods and spider alloys as standard.

That also looks like is has the older window pillars.

It looks like a nice car but you may want one with the later standard LW bits, and can probably get one for the same price.

It looks nice, but I'd say you need to see and drive the car before making any judgement. Buying a good Cerb for £11k can often be cheaper than a buying cheap Cerb for £9k.

Thanks for the replies chaps. Nice of you to take the time for this. I'll be taking them on board.

I guess what I'm getting at is...is this a fair price if the car is in average condition with no hidden nasties or is the cheap price something that should ring alarm bells?

Again guys - you've been brilliant so far.

Buy it only when they can prove it has a rebuilt engine (2004/2005 spec). If it doesn't have one, find a V8 with the later type engine (oildipstick in front).

Good luck!

Looks good to me. It's a 'mark 2' with later type instruments, coloured A piller, Tuscan seats. As a 2000 car it should have later rear lights but the earlier back lit number plate. Also has white indicators which is nice.

With some 18" spiders it would look excellent

Price seems ok assuming recent rebuild and no need for any paint work (that paint is expensive).

I know that one well, and it *is* a tidy car to look at.

PM me and I may be able to put you in touch with the previous owner smile
