Annual Valentines/Nice hotel/last minute thread!

Afternoon All,
Looking for ideas for somewhere to take my Mrs this weekend, pref Saturday night but i'm flexible. There was a good thread on here a good while back with nice hotels that specialised in "bathing together" type shenanigans but I can't find the thread.
Anyone any recomendations? Pref North of England, got to be special, no real budget, I mean how expensive can it be?
My wife is due to have a kidney transplant in a few weeks so want to take her somewhere really nice but not too far that she is knackered from the travelling.
