Noticed a drip from the clutch master cylinder on my '00 Chimaera. Can someone point me in the direction of a replacement seal kit? Did it some years back on a Griff', [git of a job] but parts supplier says they don't do replacement seal kits anymore.

I tried to go this route and ended up replacing the whole cylinder. £50 IIRC. The length of the push rod was different on my new one, so I kept the old part (i.e. don't chuck your out until you have compared). Agree it is a git of a job. I sometimes wonder which bit of a TVR Blackpool built first.

The kit number is SP2102 (Girling master cylinder).

I think it is better to change the cylinder, not a hard job and will last a lot longer than just changing a seal.

Cheers guys, I'm grieved to change cylinder as only done 11.2k miles. Will try and get kit, otherwise cylinder [with old rod as advised] Thanks again.
