Seamaster, adjusting date??

I havn't been wearing the seamaster as regularly as usual and when i do put it on it has normally stopped, is there an easy way to reset the date? It's a bit tedious having to wind it forward day by day for a week or two.

Errrrrrrrrrrr I may be stating the obvious but on mine I pull the winder out one click for date adjustment and 2 clicks for time, infact that's the same on most watches I own????

My Seamaster Chrono allowed you to adjust the date as per most watches, that is with the crown pulled out one click. However, on my mum's Seamaster Aqua Terra, you adjust the date by advancing the hour hand independently of the minute hand.

If you're on the hour setting then once you take it past midnight go back to just before 9 and wind past midnight and you'll click forward another date.
Back 3 hrs and forward 3 is a bit quicker than spinning round all 24.

I was told for all automatics to do it before the 10pm mark or after the 6am mark to be safe but additionally, winding backwards was a bad thing. Anyone care to comment?

it's 8pm and 2am on a Valjoux 7750, and i'd apply that to most chronos, as many of them are 7750 based, i know the HUB44 (Hublot Big Bang)is, same with many Breitlings. The Daytona is *probably* safe,

Tells you to do it in the manual, if it breaks it then you send it back for them to fix it.
