Sebring is looking good

Looks good!. Bourdais to do le mans and F1 this year then? when was the last time a driver done that?

This last weekend Sebring hosted the Porsche Drivers Weekend. A truly marvellous club event and some top GT3 RS and GT1's.

Together with David Brabham who won the GT1 class with Aston Martin in the 24 Hours last year

The pair take the places of Jacques Villeneuve and Ricardo Zonta in Peugeot's 2009 line-up, with Nicolas Minassian, Marc Gene, Christian Klien, Pedro Lamy, Franck Montagny and Stephane Sarrazin all retained.

I wonder where David Brabham's loyalties will lie at Sebring. He will be driving the Acura, but will probably be desperate for Peugeot to be quicker so he has a chance at Le Mans. I can't imagine Acura will have any challengers for the ALMS LMP1 crown anyway now.

Anyone know what's going on with GT1? It is pretty much moribound in LMS and ALMS?

Tom kristensen is audi through and through, but your right i suppose, money talks!!

Can you see him ever driving for anyone else though (I'm including Audi group there)?

I hate to say it, the Pug looks quite nice this year. It'll lose, obviously, as they'll go 'all Gallic' again when the unexpected happens, but it's very pretty. I must say it's a shame that Villeneuve won't be there either.

Well, he's not there at the moment, shall we say. Peugeot have dropped him from their squad. I suppose he may get called up elsewhere but I think he was a big publicity pull for Peugeot being a French speaker and rather high profile. Shame as I think he did a good job.

I think JV is chasing a NASCAR drive this year. I don't know why he's bothering to be honest. He could earn a good living and get involved in some awesome racing if he did Speedcar in the winter and prototypes through the summer.

Re TK, he is a full-time Audi DTM driver and just does the big races now. I can't see him wanting to go over to Peugeot. I don't think their cheque book is big enough. Sarrazin and Minassian are absolutely superb anyway - both star drivers in their own right.
