Had to go to Bramley today so checked it out - its great! much quicker route.
And also, (this is such a typical PH to note) fantastically smooth clean tarmac with lovely cambered roundabouts - also it was completely empty at 4 this afternoon...
Had a nosey myself - huge wide long stretch of dual carriageway straight off the motorwayAnd also, (this is such a typical PH to note) fantastically smooth clean tarmac with lovely cambered roundabouts - also it was completely empty at 4 this afternoon...
...................40mph limit

Wait for the speed cameras

It's a lovely smooth stretch of road which I enjoyed driving (legally) on earlier

40mph ?
There will be even more accidents now, through people falling asleep at the wheel.
Could be worse though....
One day I will join a flow of traffic on a single carriageway A-road that is actually UP to the speed limit.....aaaaaaah !
I could still get from York to Hull quicker 30 years ago in a Moggy thou' or a Mini.

I might be able to get out of Colton more easily at rush hour, there was a massive increase in traffic a couple of years ago when Pontefract lane was closed.
