So, here's a few pics of a mate's project. The 'mate' in question has already been responsible for one of the finest DAX Cobras ever created & his new project is going to be astonishing! As the title says, NASCAR engined, 1973 CSL with a completely redesigned chassis using DAX suspension technology. I'll wet your appetite with a few pics:

Looks good.
What exactly is a NASCAR engine? who makes it, how big is it, is it in any production cars we might have heard of?

From a quick google they just use massive 5.**l naturally aspirated v8s


As for the car... Great idea! I'm just waiting for the awesome pictures of the finished product to appear now biggrin

Yes, they are very tight lipped indeed ref power and torque output. Same with car weight/construction. I tried googling nascar tech stuff last year but gave up frustrated as most pages seem satisfied with "wooo big v8 yeaaah".
