Hi all,
Some time ago I posted on here asking for details on what model phone handset various PH members were using at the time. The idea was to gain a sample of information for use in a development project. I got plenty of responses and the results were put to good use. Well it's that time of the year again, and so I'm asking for your help once more.
What I'd like is just an indication of what mobile handset you are currently using, what you like about it, and what you don't like about it? Feel free to be as detailed as you like, or alternatively just a sentence or two will be fine.
The information you send is collated and used to suggest trends, wants and needs for mobile phone handset ownership. It's also fairly useful as a general "what handset?" thread, in that people get the discover the cons as well as the pros!
I'd prefer this didn't get into an argument about the virtues (or lack thereof) of any particular handset, but rather an honest account of what you're currently using and why you're using it.

Nokia N95 8GB..
When I got it, it was the newest of the N-Series out. The camera is very good, could do with a better flash like the Sony Ericsson K800i, but its still very good.
The slide feels strong and well built.. It would be better with a camera lense cover though to protect it.
The actual functions are more than enough, things like the Barcode reader which is a pure novelty, i've never used it for anything other than messing around. The WiFi is very very good though, every new phone should come with it.
Its got a massive memory which is good, 8gb as the name suggests.. I'm not sure if it uses some of this for content memory such as Messages but currently i've got 2000 texts and its still going, only slowed a tiny bit which is expected.
Picture wise i've 300 pictures and the gallery still works fine.
I will definately look at getting another of the N-Series when I come to upgrade, but in all honestly.. I still miss my SE K800i.

A bit of a handful.
Personal phone: iPhone 3G 8GB: music, calendar, toys, games, contacts, wifi/web goodness - all in one. I like the one-stop sync with my Mac.
Work phone 1: Nokia 6021 (issued by company). Awful handset. Poor volume, poor voice quality, naff screen, crap buttons. Currently broke and with the ITdept.
Work phone 2: Nokia 6310i. The machine room phone. Indestructible and audible in noisy environments.
Work phone 3: Sony Ericsson w910i. Nice contacts handling, excellent, bright screen. Keypad's a bit poor.

I'll pretty much 2nd all of that with my N95 8GB, although I've actually used the barcode reader to scrounge two free games off of Pepsi cans. One of them was Project Gotham! Nokia 6300
Just "a phone" really, but that's all I need. Had a few smartphones before (SE P800, Nokia E72 and so on) and just never used them beyond being a phone, so reverted to something simple, light and with a battery that lasts more than a day. Recently got myself an iPod Touch for mobile browsing (via wifi) though - I couldn't justify the contract costs of an iPhone.
