Video Capture

I currently use a cheap (£65) Adaptec USB (AVC-1100) capture device. It's great for transfering VHS to VCD / MPEG1 but lacks the quality for creating decent DVD's.

For £145+VAT I'm tempted to buy one of these:

Do you have firewire (IEEE 1394) available? Will you mostly be importing analog or digital?

Don't have firewire at the moment but am prepared to buy a card.
