Mini 50th Anniversary events?

Morning all,

I have friend who has a classic Mini, and was wondering is there a certain event for the anniversary or are there different ones?

I've found out that this is an event at Gaydon for a weekend to celebrate them, but nothing more than that.

There's an event showing at Santapod - Mini in the park - Sunday 16th August. Not sure what it will be like but I was thinking about taking a look.

The weekend before is the event at Longbridge IMM2009

I was thinking about attending here as well?

If I get my Mini back on the road I may attend in that
