where can i get a tvr badge for my bonnet, my gold one has got chipped and corroded and looks tatty. ive seen them on Racing green's website but at £50 i would rather sandblast my old one and get it chromed for half the price.

Anyone know a supplier. ive seen some on the bay but i dont think they come with the 2 threaded bars to fix them on. has anyone fitted and adhesive style badge to the bonnet?

Dont buy one of those self adhesive badges off ebay. I did, and its rubbish. What the add doesnt mention is that the self adhesive badge is a lot smaller than the original bonnet badge.

i thought that by the measurments quoted on the ebay advert. i drew it on a bit of paper and was sure the original was a fair bit bigger.

was also worried about the adhesiveness. as with Cerb speed and G's it would surely peel off.

Is the Cerbera one the same as the Griffith? If so give Leven a call, about £35 plus p&p.

Clean it up with some fine wire wool.
Spray the whole badge Black (or whatever colour you like)
Once dry use a very fine 1200 grit and a block, a few quick rubs and it rubs the paint off the raised lettering and the border.
You'll now have a nice new shiny badge.

PS not quite as good as a new one, but it will look loads better.
