Hi, can anyone help I have apriblem with my cerbera 4.2 clutch. It feels like the clutch pedal has no response and it crunches trying to engage gears. Once I drive it for 5-10 mind it seems to be ok. I have been advised it might be clutch master cylinder? Any ideas and anyone have one for sale. Thanks.
Theres a thread running here that might answer some questions.....

Could be it either needs bleeding, or either/both the Master cylinder or the Slave Cylinder have failed. You wont find a 2nd hand Slave cylinder (Well you might but you'd be mad to fit it)
Slave is about £270 + fitting, Master abour £30 + fitting, full clutch £800 + fitting.

might be worth checking the clutch fluid level. The master cylinder is located under a black cover on the drivers side inside wing (usually held on with some black sticky stuff)
Changing the master cylinder is not a big job, but getting at one of the bolts is awkward. Check the Cerbera parts thread which is a sticky to see what vehicle its from.

Copied from the alternative parts list....
Ford Fiesta XR2 or 1.6i Ghia - check the bore diameter as there were two types used. The one you need for the 4.2 Cerbera is the larger, which is 22mm
So basicly any motor factors should have them (probably cheaper than a TVR specialist)
Thats the Brake Master Cylinder - MarkFord Fiesta XR2 or 1.6i Ghia - check the bore diameter as there were two types used. The one you need for the 4.2 Cerbera is the larger, which is 22mm
