pikey - that'll be fine, c u there then! - I'm in the roadgoing 968 'stealth' mobile - stopping at the Amport Inn the night before - anyone else around for a shandy!

there is usually only one or two track days there a year due to the local village complaining

I count myself very luck to have done alot of bike trackdays at thruxton before they stopped running them there even road silenced bikes (mine was for thruxton) were gtting flagged in during the last year of bike days (2000 or 2001 iirc).

so for bikes around thruxton that was that

hi paul, i think it'll be ok too. if melindi says it isnt then i'll post lots of pics of puppies to bribe her into letting me out, seemed to work for phatgixer a while back. Not sure what i'm doing the night before as the trackdays on my birthday and I'm sure my girlfriend'll have something planned.

Maybe I'll have to prep the Corrado and come along. Even though it's got a soggy damper right now and could be "interesting" in the handling dept.

I'm not going to be there, I'm afraid. The Corrado is way overdue a service and that would have to be done before a trackday and I don't have time to do it.

And obviously the Sagaris wouldn't pass the noise regulations.

Sadly it doesn't look like I will be there either!

I do hope Goldtrack get enough support that these Thruxton days continue as perhaps next year I will make it and Thruxton is very, very special...

Totally agree. I love Thruxton. Even more than the full Silverstone GP Circuit. More, even, than mid-90's Combe.

Noise there was something stupid like 75db last time I enquired about putting one there. They've had people sent home for tyre noise!

Be interested to see how it goes. I could put 80 cars there tommorrow...if I could get 105!!!
