So Scolari gets full pay 2 years pay and bankers get rewarded for there bad management, is this the way forward ?

yeah if I was sacked 6 months into a 2 year contract I'd want some kind of redundancy pay thanks

as said, depends on the contract.

If I'm employed to resell £200M of dodgy debt and get a 35M bonus for achieving that then I want my £5M bonus. If I realise that doing this is not sensible I have the option to do the job or not, I know what I'd do given the choice, just because the banks are living off tax payers money doesn't release them from their contractual obligations.

I find it incredible that the current government are asking some people to take a moral view on whether they should accept their bonuses. The current government pulling the morality card is just laughable.

Me too, they should jail some of them for criminal negligence.
