I've just about had enough of this...

Every day the amount of st spewed from the fkwitted Quango brigade gets more and more intolerable.

Recent crap, in no particular order:-

- Kids over the age of two should stop drinking full fat milk to avoid heart disease;
- Don't play on level crossings;
- Bacon is bad for you, no it isn't, oh yes it is, etc;
- Alcohol - count your units!;
- Snow - stay in unless absolutely necessary;
- Rain / wind - "...stock up on supplies - it's the end of the world!";
- Climate Change - !;
- How to keep toddlers safe in your home;
- PAY YOUR CAR TAX!!!;
- Benefit Cheats - We've got your number!;
- KILL YOUR SPEED!;
- How to drive sensibly and save £50 a year eek;
- Turn your Telly off standby and save the Planet!;

And so on, and so on... feel free to add to the list...

It seems like you can't turn on a radio, read a paper, watch TV for more than 10 mins or drive past a billboard without "YOUGOV.CO.UK" telling you how to live your life.

However did we manage before New Labour came along with their myriad departments specializing in poking their noses into every facet of our existence?

It's all in our best interests you know!

Ye Gods.

I agree with you except for this bit.

This problem seems to be getting worse so people need to be told. 3000 incidents in the last year, it's madness.

It's the useless solutions to the percieved problems that annoy me! Infections in hospitals - solution? Appoint an infection control manager to "manage" the problem!! NO! the problem already exists all on it's own, it doesn't need "managing" what it needs is the 3 or 4 cleaners that could be employed for the same money as the manager!! We already have infection control nurses and Domestic service supervisors (hotel services they're called now) And while we're at it make the people accountable for the cleaning, if they're crap at it fire them and get someone in whose not! Far too much mamby pamby touchy feely bullcrap going about nowadays, it's almost impossible to be sacked nowadays!!
Thanks,
Gary

It's just the systematic dumbing-down of the population.

What's next? "Don't play with boiling water!" or "Grapefruit - don't swallow them whole!"

Ditto. Just had a HIP report for selling the house. I can improve the energy rating of my house and save myself £34 per year if I replace the current central heating with a new system. I wonder how many years it would take to offset the cost of replacement.rolleyes

I know it's obvious to us here but if a problem is genuinely getting worse, which is endangering the lives of others (the people on the train) then maybe some advertising needs to be done.

Admittedly natural selection would be the best solution but unfortunately thicko's have human rights to, that Scami Chakrabateratatiratbati bint said so.

The ads should read the opposite,

Try heating your water while sitting in it with a 3 bar electric fire....

Ignore the signs, go on, pat that Lion on the head at Windsor Safari Park....

Smoke and inject all the drugs your dole money will get on the day you get paid...

If youre stupid enough to do them then you deserve all you get!

Anyone would think no-one survived before this shower of st arrived.

yes

I have no objection to the terminally thick removing themselves from the gene pool but only if they do it in such a way that causes minimum disruption to everyone else. I really feel for the train drivers and innocent passengers who suffer because some idiot couldn't be bothered to wait for a couple of fking minutes before crossing a level crossing safely.
