Is anyone else getting a little tired of people jumping in on an innocent thread and giving someone a grilling for what sometimes is only a small punctuation/grammatical error?

I can understand it being mentioned if a post is unreadable or full of inane text speak but shirley people are just doing it now to prove a point.

Pistonheads - Tearing people a new one for poor English matters :/

english should be with a capital 'E'. (sorry, couldn't resist!)

But yeah, gets on my wick too.

"punctuation"... The first sentence should also end with a question mark.

Lucky I quoted you before you edited it then.

Go back and sort "purile" [sic] out as well while you're at it, will you?

Have to agree when this happens.
Otherwise, pathetic when minor spelling and puntuation errors occur

It's annoying, the odd spelling mistake or punctuation error does not make a post unreadable. I can understand text/ chav speak being annoying, but those who point out a missing comma or a small spelling error are just being slightly up themselves if you ask me. Not everyone here (including me) has, or should be expected to have perfect English skills, but should however, do the best they can.
