Help.

It may be the weather or just me having spent a week in transits, but the fiesta seems to have a slight issue. When sitting at between 2 and 2.5k rpm (the middle of the torque curve) on a steady throttle in 3rd or higher it feels like the throttle is being pumped gently. I was wondering if this was turbo related as when I open the throttle it pulls much harder to 3.5k rpm than it was but I am worried that this extra urge could be pointing to something a bit broken. The car has covered 37k miles and is booked in for a service at the end of the month, but the warranty doesn't end until May 22nd. Should I see what happens between now and its service or pop it into a dealer just in case?

had something very similar in our 1.6 tdci c-max, it went in with what seemed to be a slight miss when accelerating, they checked it all but said they all tend to do that sir!!

so it may be a design fault

Cold air and fuel mixture altering is more likely. Mine does it from cold startup as well, fine when under bonnet temps are more settled

Cold air may be the problem, was much warmer for the last couple of days and it has been notably normal.
