Skype on iphone?

Just got an iphone 3g and i have just found this website.http://shapeservices.com/s4iphone/
has anyone else got skype on their 3G?
i have a friend in canada on skype that i could talk to for free or the $10 lifetime license. Or anyone else with skype for that matter.

I just visited that site it looks very interesting i have not yet downloaded the app, i currently use skype on my laptop so if i was to install i could by rights use on my iphone 3g, although i guess it would have to be connected to a 3g network or wireless network? i know in the UK the 02 package includes free 3g network so makes sense whereas here you pay through the roof for data per mb.

I have the iPod Touch and use Truphone, very similar to Skype but cheaper if you call mobiles and landlines, free if Truphone-to-Truphone. Obviously i can only get on in a wifi area, however i thoroughly recommend it. Program is free to download too

Get fring from the app store. It supports skype accounts. Use it abroad in hotels on there wifi all the time, very useful money saver..

You can download Fring from the app store which is skype compatible. Wifi only though.

I had read that there was some serious in the talk to talk using Fring, almost 2 seconds, which makes conversation almost impossible, not sure if they have cured this now.
