Can anyone tell me what the real world fuel economy is like on a 335i coupe?

somewhere between 20 to 28mpg is reported here. It shouldnt really matter though 'cos it ain't why you buy them wink

I have test driven 2 - one of them showed 23mpg (manual car, central london) as the average, and the other 28mpg (which was an auto at a main dealer).

I average 25.6mpg in my E92 325i so the 335i seems very reasonable, but as said, that isn't why you should buy one!

Out of my manual 335i - day to day driving not hanging around on A roads and motorways I get 28 ish. Taking it easy on motorway runs 32 and if drive like a granny 34. Which is not bad for the performance it gives...

335i 4 door. Auto box and mainly town driving in Birmingham shows 22/23 mpg. Do get abut 20/30 more mile per tank from the better fuels (Optimax etc).

Mine is a 380bhp remapped (Birds Autos) Manual Touring. I drive a daily commute of 65 mile round-trip comprising a mixture of A roads, B roads and town driving. I get an average of between 25-28mpg depending on how clear the roads are! Its possible to get over 30mpg on long journeys if cruising at below 75mph, but not much more than that even if you are driving with economy in mind. I think I was getting 2mpg more prior to the Birds remap but an extra 80bhp and 100 lb/ft of torque are adequate compensations!

That really is fantastic results.

Saw one of these driven with anger recently near Watlington we were cruising along in a 1.4ltr 4 up at 50mph (limit) and this 335i Saloon came up behind then waited and pulled out fk me that 50 - xxxmph really did fly.

Mine is a 335i Tourer Auto. On obeying limits on motorways - can get an easy 32 mpg. Around town more like 22-24. I use V Power.
