non turbo mr2 turbocharging

right im trying to find a turbocharger suitible for a mk1 1.6 mr2 along with intercoolers and other bits to fit in a possible metro 6r4 replica

Better off supercharging it,seeing as they made one!

Rare though,but a better chance than turboing.

There are turbo 4AGE manifolds floating round I've seen a couple on IMOC over the years, but I don't pay much attention to mk1 stuff these days.

Why use a 1.6 for a 6R4 replica?

since you can fit a 3SGTE into a MK1, why not use that? then strap on a big turbo with a screamer pipe on the wastegate and you will have the sound and performance to match a real 6R4?
