Tonights Auf Wiedersehen Pet was chock full of these which got me thinking....
Would it be legal to run a foreign police liveried vehicle on the UK roads, considering it would'nt replicate any British vehicle past or present ?

From memory it's legal but only as long as the blue lights are either taken off or permanently covered up so they cannot be seen.

You need to cover the lights and if the word "police" is written in English, that also needs to be covered.

Polizei/Policia etc should be fine.
