Poo In The Woods
Discussion
Following on from the Asda bag thread, I'm now in a "green" dilema... So, taking my dog into the woods, he squats and enjoys a big, healthy dump. Should I leave it to "add to the enviornment, flora and all that" or god help us all... pick it up in a PLASTIC bag??!!! (having said all that, if offending pile was on footpath and at risk of being trampled on, I'd do something about it!) Your thoughts please...

Stepping in something nasty aside, dog poo can contain too many nutrients for the local habitat's natural balance. Which means some woodland or downland plants won't be happy growing there.
Mind you, the beetles and black slugs will most likely be glad of a free meal, but it's probably best to bag 'n' bin it if possible.

I'm sure they will know what to do with it. Responsibly.

Pick it up with the plastic bag, but throw it as hard as you can into the foliage above. Then chortle at the chap you meet at the entry to the woods as you leave.
