Up-dated my 720 yesterday via Tom Tom Home and it showed a Firmware up-date. I duly completed the up-date (Version 8.301) and all of a sudden I could no longer use the Operate My Go via the computer. I got an error message suggesting that the facility was not yet available.

Called Tom Tom and it is a known bug with the latest firmware which should be sorted with the next up-date in a couple of weeks.

Hopefully this saves others having to call Tom Tom for advice.

I have just updated my go today, and it has happened for the fourth time. You would think they would have been able to have nailed this problem by now.

They nailed it months ago, with an update to Tomtom Home. Check whether you are running a current version of Home.
