So, after years of various scares relating to the consumption of eggs, we now find out that we can eat them till our heart's content!!

For me this is good news, although I probably have been eating 10-15 a week for the last few years anyway, regardless, but this is good news for me, as I did wonder how good/bad they were for my diet..

Who else is a big egg fan and is pleased with the news?

This is why those who worship at the altar of science should take care as it is ever so that scientists declare "We are absolutely right" until it occurs that they are not, and then they say "We are absolutely right".

10 to 15 eggs a week?!

Do you mainline them or something?!

You should rename yourself Cool Hand Luke.

Mark my words: Dark Matter and Dark Energy will exist as concepts only until science can explain why they are unnecessary for the Universe to work the way they understand it to.

Just as we moved on from Newtonian Physics to understanding the Universe a little better with the work of Einstein and all who came after.

Our understanding of Human Physiology will no doubt improve - and the medical scuttlebutt of previous generations will be overturned - and new scuttlebutt invented to take it's place.

And that will be how it is until we have the technology to exactly and artificially reproduce a complete human being from the base chemicals with no recourse to existing human cells or humans in any way.

i.e. Not in our lifetimes.

No, I think he's saying we mustn't trust science and we must put our faith in devine intervention to resolve the egg situation.

Well think about it, I often have scrambled egg as a snack. 4 eggs a time. Adds up quick.

Be fair, he didn't give an eggsact number

I'm sure I've seen a similar thread somewhere else, has the link been poached from another Forum?
