Hello all,
Can anyone please tell me how difficult is it to raise the body high enough to access the outriggers to clean and repair them and how do I do it? ie: what bits do I have to unbolt.

It's a complete bks of a job. You have to lift the body off, not just as straight forward as a Chim/Griff because of the internal rollcage. Dulford took 2 days to get the body off mine and 2 days to put it back on! And they know what they're doing!

Also be prepared for more nasties once you have the body up, good chance there will be further chassis work needed and once you have the body lifted it might just make sense to do the entire job and get it out the way. There was a thread a while back where one company was going through the floors to get to the outriggers, if it's just the front corners then this might be an option.

In this month's sprint sportmotive (www.sportmotice.com)are stating that they can replace outriggers on a griff for £1500 incl VAT without a body lift or making holes in the floor - dunno how they do it or if they can do a cerb but probably worth a try

Easy on a Chim or Griff, just had mine done without a body lift, the Sportmotive approach is good as they only sleeve one tube.

No idea about a Cerb, but I'll have a look when I pick mine upbiggrin

Offords near Cambridge also do this, they replaced the bad sections in mine last year.
