Took a new hood (replaced all 6 seals too) and she's leak free (so far) and as dry as a bone. I now love her again!

How much/where?

I could do with a new one...

Quite tempted by mohair/glass heated rear screen but depends on the price as I am blowing hot & cold on keeping it...

New hood was £260 for a mohair hood from Jack Smith trimmers in Swansea. I already had the heated glass screen so they swapped it over.

Mine's dry again too. Finally found some level ground to park it on. smile

(Touch wood and all that, of course)

Heard good things about Jack Smith's - shame it's such a long way away...

Are you attached? Strange question I know but you could make a weekend of it with your better half? I wouldn't advise staying in Swansea as such but the nearby Gower and mountains are well worth a visit. The roads close (ish) to Swansea are sensational too. You'd only have to be in Swansea for 2 hours as that's all it takes to fit a new hood.

Heh - that's a thought, may suggest it!
