So on the news it showed the sudden heavy snowfall in the NE today - Newcastle etc. Apparantly roads and schools are closed etc.

Wasnt it only a week or so ago all those 'jolly Northerners' were calling us southerners softies and saying such occurrances didnt affect them 'ooop north'...

Sat in a pub in central Newcastle waiting for my wife who is a teacher finishing work. Yes snow is coming down, but roads still open, I drove in at about 12.30pm with no issues. Maybe areas around Northumberland are having problems but centrally it is fine. So far.

It's not a pub, is it. It's a winebar, of sorts, yes?

It's true, we did get caught out. Newcastle airport had to shut for an hour cos the guy with the shovel was on his lunch.

I've just had to take a 996 GT2 out of the showroom in the snow to get another Carrera GT in, probably the last two cars I would want to be driving in this weather

It's snowing right now in North London. Not according to the weather forecast, but it is if I look out the window smile

At this rate although I might have a job I won't have a warm roof over my head tonight, I'll be sleeping in the showroom Swiss Toni style.
