This is really for Roger, as explained before about the lacquer coming off my alloys. Any ideas of what i can use to strip them down. Nitromors i suppose but would that damage the alloy? The wheel in the photo is as clean as it gets. Right ing messmad

well I tried it with an Astra wheel last summer and boy was it a royal pain in the ass getting it off with paintstripper. In all honesty after that experience and then the sanding and prep to get ready for spraying you really are as well paying someone to do it and get them powdercoated. Or if you must paint them yourself try find someone to bead/sand blast the paint off or have them dipped, dont sit with a brush and scraper trying to do it yourself. Just my 2p worth.

What you need is a set of staggered wheels - 18x8" on the front and 18x10" on the rear! in the split rim style! and I just happen to have a set for sale, the rears have been refurbished and the fronts I can get done for £60 a piece. Look in PH for sale under Merc if your interested. BTW the rears have been painted all the way with no polished edge as its just to hard to look after!
Fitting the other set I have to mine next week if I can affords the new rear tires! 285/30... mmmmmmmmm nice! smokin

PS: dont try to refurb yourself - to hard and you will stuff them up.

PSS - your none split rims are very plaine to look at....

No thanks. Gas mans was the first Sced Monaro i'd been in. I have to say i did nothing but scream and swear. Nearly cacked myself. I can honestly say that "i don't want a supercharger"
There you go. That's a statement that's never been seen on here
