Nope - not simple. The increase in air will lean the car out and it'll run like a dog. A new needle (richer - AAB or similar) and trip to the rollers is required even for the most basic filter swap. You'll be hugely disappointed otherwise.The K&N element in the standard filter casing (suggested above) is good compromise.

[/quote]Correct...been there many years ago and that was what happened. Can't say about the needle thogh but it would definitely need a different one, even if only the filter swap was done.
