My OH's 30 year old Seiko needs replacing; only because the strap broke, probably due to metal fatigue. And, apparently, it's not repairable.
She's been scouring the web and local jewelers to no avail.
Can anyone recommend somewhere else to look?
It cost about £150 then so I suppose she'd consider anything up to about £500.
Do not bother with watches priced to match the number of diamonds around the face; it's a quality watch she's after.

Thanks for the link. Lots to look at and some unbelievable prices! Nothing to match the 'daintyness' of her old Seiko, though.

Success, thank you, Slagathore.
Sue did eventually home in on one, at about the price I expected. Order placed. Result.

I didn't think you want to know. It was this one:

Here: http://www.jurawatches.co.uk/watch.asp?productid=4...
We did find the same watch at or above their 'original' price, so it was a genuine reduction.

The only trouble was, because she doesn't normally use her CC online late at night, Barclaycard flagged it as unusual spending and, at Tescos the next morning, her card was refused. Very embarrassing!.
