I am not superstitious but so far today my train was cancelled this morning (although is is quite usual) and then my friend managed to spew at the station and spatter my coat with it! Let's hope the day gets better!

From The Mirror...

Retired bus conductor Bob Renphrey of North Wales decided to spend every Friday 13th in bed after a run of bad luck on the fateful day during the early 1990s. Among other misfortunes he wrote off four cars, got made redundant, fell into a river, crashed a motorcycle and walked through a plate glass door. When Bob died of cancer in 1998, his widow Betty – who on previous Friday 13ths had fallen downstairs, been hit by falling guttering and been hospitalized after Bob hit her in the face with a stick he was throwing to a dog - decided to book his funeral for Friday 13th March as a final tribute. Alas, all Rhyl’s undertakers were too busy. “Bob would have seen the funny side,” said Mrs Renphrey.

I wish i was still in bed.
Everything that could go wrong at work today has went wrong and i have only been working 3 hours.
What else will the day bring?

I'm staying at home, what can go wrong.

Looks worryingly at full cup of hot coffee...

Friday the 13th is unlucky as it's when the Pope ordered the execution of the Knights Templar.

Well this is one of the many reasons it's classed as unlucky.

Also it's only unlucky in the UK.

WRONG, germany france and switzerland also class it as unlucky, as do most of the "civilised" world.

Surely it's unlucky in the US too...hence the film title(s)? I doubt it was picked by accident to strike fear into the hearts of audiences....

So the famous American horror film was called Friday 13th for no particular reason then?

edit: beaten to it!

I switched on the dining room light this morning, and a bulb blew.

I'm staying in all day, in case a UFO falls out of the sky & lands on me. Or something.
