How many episodes were there - we seem to be having a "Ren and Stimpy" discussion just now.

And is there any way I can get these from you?

The first series was the best, before nickelodeon fired the creator and cleaned it up for children.

I'll check when I get home in a few hours.

As for transferring them, it's a fair few GB worth of data...you can email me your address if you like and I'll pop them in the post on a couple of DVDs to you.

From what I understood nickelodeon considered it too violent and gross to continue to be aired on their channel, and along with issues about Kricafalusi's worth ethic got rid of him.

Granted it was still pretty gross even after he was got rid of.

How wierd, I was discussing Ren and Stimpy with a friend a few days ago. The only episodes I can really picture in full is the jar of spit and Ren's fart that turned into a gassy friend biggrin

Anyone remember the Sega Mega Drive game? Happy days. Didn't the creator work on Rocco's modern life too? Seem to remember that being pretty dark and twisted albeit not to the same extent.

My friend has just sung the "Log" song - it was a fine rendition smile

I always thought that Ren and Stimpy were pretty dark - and Rocko was only a small step up...

"What rolls down stairs alone or in pairs
Rolls over your neighbor's dog?
What's great for a snack and fits on your back?
It's Log, Log, Log!

It's Log, Log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood.
It's Log, Log, it's better than bad, it's good!
Everyone wants a log! You're gonna love it, Log!
Come on and get your log! Everyone needs a Log!"

Powdered Toast Maaaaaaaan was hilarious as well - "Cling tenaciously to my buttocks!"
