I've misplaced my manual, and after having to let most of the air out of the tyres to clear the snow, I'm wondering what the tyre pressures should be on my X308 XJR?

Tyres fitted are 255/40/18/95Y.

Is it something like 27/28PSI front and 29/30PSI rear? Embarassed to ask but I genuinely can't remember...

Ta in advance.

It's going to be much higher than that...

Isn't there a little plaque on either the driver's or passenger's side, you need to open the doors, and it will be on the pillar where the doors are "hinged" to the car.

I'll see if I can find out the exact pressures...

Not a bad assumption then!

I did google before I asked but I'm seeing a range of answers from 22psi for "comfort" and 40psi.

I can't see the former being very comfortable and the latter sounds outright dangerous to me...

if i remember correctly, i think they were in the 36psi range... (may be totally wrong though). high 20s and low 30s seem too low to me.

look for the little plate, i think it should be there... or actually, it may even be on the bottom side of the lid of the centre console (or is that my s-type?? hmm... check both anyway)!

Should be on a plate on the underneath of the centre console lid

I've got no plate under the centre console lid... Just a sticker telling me the merits of a phone that isn't there.

I went for 29 front 30 rear. Seemed fine on a hard drive but with the lack of grip it was hard to tell. Comfortable enough around town.
