Is your alarm going off while the battery is disconnected or when you reconnect the battery?

My alarm goes off if the battery is disconnected - Thats what they are supposed to do.
I have a switch on mine where I can turn off the the alarm - don't they all have this fitted?
Temporarily run some jump leads from the car to the battery to prevent the alarm going off.

No, I can disconnect mine and everything remains silent.

Once I reconnect the battery it'll close the windows (well close them the bit it normally does) and locks the doors i.e. arm itself.

I thought this was normal.
