Xpelair fan - help required

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience of Xpelair bathroom\shower fans? In particular the XIM100+T model.

I've got one I'm trying to install but the labels for the connectors don't match the instructions!!

On the fan I've got labelled

T (Black wire)
L2(Blue wire)
L1(Grey wire)
N (Brown wire)

Some how the instructions don't have this exact model, nore does the Xpelair website, but both of them have the following wire spec...

T (Black wire)
N2(Blue wire)
N1(Grey wire)
L (Brown wire)

Anyone know which is right? The techincal helpline is closed at weekends!!

Can't help even though I work for a vent company (just don't take to do with wiring at all!)

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately that matches the diagrams in my instructions. The problem is, I've bought a model that isn't listed on either - XIM100+T

Don't want to guess wrong and blow the thing up, so this will have to wait until Monday when I can phone them...

i would guess going by the colours of the cables (as an electrician)
T (Black wire)
N2(Blue wire)
N1(Grey wire)
L (Brown wire)

T= timer- perminant feed to run on running timer.
N2= neutral
N1= neutral link
L= switch wire (live)

If the above does not work try swapping the "T" termination with the "L" as sometimes the terminals are called T= Trigger / Switch Wire (to trigger the timer function) and L as the permanent Live. Either way the N1 & N2 are a looped Neutral.
