Discussion
Seems the preceding threads have been locked, but the latest news is that she only has months left to live as her cancer is inoperable.

It's never nice for anyone to have cancer, let alone die of it, but anyone who makes money from the fact that they have cancer is wrong.
I have no issues if it supports her children when she is gone. Elskeggso said:

Quite scary really - I never liked the woman and found her the typify everything that is wrong with Britain and this pathetic cult of celebrity. However nobody deserves this to happen, and it just shows how quickly something like cancer can bring you from top-of-the-world to nothing in a very short space of time indeed. She has my sympathies

It has nothing to do with greed.
My family has been stricken with cancer, I have been around it far too much and greed is the last thing on someones mind when they are dying.

I agree she is doing everything she can for her kids. I also think she is doing a good job in raising the awareness for women, I am the same age as she is and I have never had the smear test as quite frankly it horrifies me, but seeing this unfold in the news has made me realise I need to as it can and does happen. I think this is very very sad and anyone who slates her now is a moron.

Good point, I suppose the fact that my ears tend to malfunction when celebs like this open their mouths doesn't help my point of view. I shall be more open minded in future!Vixpy1 said:

I hope she makes as much cash out of this as possible to provide for her kids. I know I would have done if I it had been an option for me.

Can't stand the bint but cancer is very cruel and indiscriminate. Perhaps having someone so high profile and young going through this very publically may just make others feel slightly less alone in going through this. My friend has recently had a mastectomy and they think it had spread - early 30s and two young children. Grim
