We're housesitting for a friend - looking after their 11 year old American Bulldog....Yesterday morning, the dog went through the neighbours bin (No wheely bins here) and managed to scatter rubbish everywhere and eat some of it...Nice

Last night I was up twice (and the wife twice) to let the dog (Who by now was suffering from the after-effects of eating, well basically - rubbish)

My last wake up call was at 5:45 this morning when I decided I may as well get up =- walk into the lounge and it smells a bit funky - only to find to piles of liquid st on the chinese rug.

Have just spent the last 30 mins cleaning the rug, trying not to honk

Is there any worse smell than dogst ?

Trouble is, its not my house - so binning the rug is not gonna happen...I could spray paint the rest of it "st that's almost but not quite removed" colour I guess ? But that may give the game away....
ajstephe - yeah, that would definitely trump dogst... - I presume you're a copper ? How the hell do you deal with the smell and still do your job ??????

I can vouch for that. One of my dogs once rolled in a decomposed deer. At least I think it might once have been a deer, as there was only a pile of bone and slime in which to make my appraisal.

Well - the pile of puke (with whole chicken bones) has been removed and rug spot cleaned for the fourth time. Dog is now asleep, snoring so I hope that this is the end...If not, the fking dog can clean it up itself...
