I have a black Elise and I don't like the look of the orange side Indicators. I bought an aftermarket pair of Vauxhall smoked lights which look much better but they are poor quality (£10) and don't fit as well. One even fell out when cornering hard ! Does any know where to get a good quality set from? On a similar topic, has anyone replaced the front orange indicatiors with the clear ones from a 111? If so, how and how much?

I think I paid about £45 for the clear front indicators with bulbs, from a Lotus dealer. I know Motobuild sell some also, for around the same price. As for the side ones I got some clear Corsa one's for £17 pounds from Auto XS. I am sure most Max Power/Gary boy outlets sell them though. Front indicators are not the easiest to fit though, hope you are not to attached to the skin on your knuckles ;-) Car looks much better for 'em. Think I may do the rear also.

Fitted smoked side repeaters from motor-build to my car and it took 4hrs! offside indicator is easy, but to do the nearside you have to shrink yourself to the size of a matchbox to even get near the retaining screws holding it in AND I lost my nut-driver head doing it. Its still in the front clam, slides around under cornering just to remind me not to attempt the job ever again. Nightmare.

What Screws? Are the Moto-build lights the 2 piece universal type that clamp each side of the wing? I looked at these at Graham Goodes in Leicester but I didn't think theirs enough depth behind the light for them. I bet they don't fall out though.

Sorry I meant front indicators NOT side repeaters and I also meant knuts NOT screws! trying to undo and then re-do the locknuts holding the indicator assembly into the front clam is a real 'mare especially the nearside. and doing the rear indicators (although I havent) looks even worse!
