Does look great in green! Very tidy job.
The way I would have tackled it: (may or may not be right)
Draw around all redbits to select.
'Desaturate' the red selections to turn them black & white
In a new layer, use the same selection - fill with green and then use the 'multiple' or 'overlay' layer option.

I was much lazier and simply made a duplicate layer adjusted hue so it was green then roughly layer masked the wheels etc but then mine looked a bit poo compared with the above.
That's more or less what i did. duplicate layer
pick the green from the other bike
select brush and hue mode
paint the red areas green
Now the green is looking pretty bad so to rectify that:
Tweak curves to lighten the green (quite a bit) concentrate on the green only, ignore what's happening to the rest of the image
Image - adjust - hue/saturation: tweak the hue slider to get the colour to match
Now you've got the green right, select eraser (revealing original layer underneath) and just quickly erase the wheels, handlbars and frame etc - takes only a few seconds as it doesn't need to be neat.
Voila.
There's probably a better way, but I'm self taught so I tend to do things the long way!

One thing I've learnt about Photoshop over the years.People who know it, talk about it in simple terms, that a monkey could follow, like its the easiest thing in the world.
The reality is that its a black art which will almost always result in a keyboard/screen/wall/desk/passing pedestrians head interface.
Its very like AutoCAD in that regard.

That's because LMAO's recipe is stupidly over-complicated (no offence). Use the method I describe, you'll do it in less than a minute.
Err...LMAOs technique was ~3 clicks long?
