How man pairs of shoes do you own?

Discussing my wife's shoe fetish (40+ pairs and a room dedicated to her shoes).
I own three pairs.
Trainers, Shoes for wearing with a suit and boots for wearing in the field when I take the dogs out.

How many pairs of shoes should a bloke own?
Is there a workable minimum?
At what maximum count do you just become a woman with stubble?

I'm actaully a bit girly on this topic i.e I own quite a few (espaecially whe compared to my crap collection of clothes but anyway).

1 pair of motorbike boots

They all have different and specific uses though, even all the pairs of trainers.

NB No heels, as I just can't walk in them....I even fall over in the flip flops!

4 X Trainers (all start off as gym trainers then when the tread wears down they get used for everyday use)
1 X Gardening trainers (not that I do much gardening!)
