Decent new phones coming out soon?

I'm looking for a new phone and out of the current crop there aren't any that really appeal. I've just returned the Nokia 5800 as I absolutely hated it and have the opportunity to go for the Nokia 6220 later today.

My ideal phone would be an iPhone nano, shame they don't make one!

I ideally need small, fast, reliable and 'classy' looking, I currently have a 6300 which is pretty much perfect if now old and battered.

The missus has a 6220, it's awesome, much better than my crappy W960i. It pretty much does everything you need a phone to, and is light but robust.

I too am in the same situation, although the N95 I currently have is good, i have a hankering for an i-phone, but it's only avaliable on 02, and since I'm a textaholic I need more than 500 bundled texts a month.

Have you looked at the HTC Touch HD? Or would it be too big?

Also, without Hijacking the topic, if anyone knows any good deals coming on the I-Phone where there are less minitues and more texts please drop me a message

I also want an iPhone but refuse to pay £45pm for the contract and I also don't want to buy it either!

I've been with o2 forever and can normally get a very good deal when Icall up but there is ZERO deals to be had on the iPhone. The best was a free refurbed phone on an 18month contract for £35 with only an average call/txt package.

I've finally upgraded to an E51 - which is fairly good and harks back to the days of the 6310i, which I agree was the best phone ever made.

Although it did cause an interesting dilema in the phone store. I tried to explain that I use my phone for business, and need to make "calls" on it, not take picture, send photos, listen to music or whatever. He was about to protest but then he saw my last month's bill (over £1k) and decided to be nice to me.....

what's wrong with Jailbreaking ? it means that the phone can have a lot more apps on it
i've always been a Nokia guy, and a phone was just a phone (and was going to have another, until Vodafone wanted me to pay for it!)

but now with the iPhone, it is so much more
still on my old contract - £25 for 500mins and 500 txts

the best thing is having a proper web browser in your pocket !

I still have my 6310i in a box. Someone saw it a couple of years ago, grabbed it with the words "you don't need this and I just broke my handset, would it be ok?" Yeah, get lost. Put it back where you found it thanks. Awesome phone.
