My drivers door internal light switch had seized up so I took the screw out and the connector popped off the back as the wire was fairly tight. Cant get hold of the connector throught the hole, is there another access point say from the engine bay that I can get it back. Not the end of the world if its a bugger of a job but would be nice,

Have you tried a torch and a "mirror-on-a-stick" plus one of those flexible retriever rods - worked for me when one of the repeater cables got lost inside the body.

If you take the wheel well cover off you should be able to reach down inside the sill area to get the cable. smile
