I'm currently trundling around in a 2001 A4 1.9tdi as a courtesy car but today had a warning light appear on the dash. Trouble is theres no handbook so was wandering if anyone knows what it is from this description;

Top left side, yellow cicular arrow with a warning triangle inside it.

Is it anything I need to worry about? I'll call the garage in the morning but need to use it before they'll be open.

not sure what the sign is, may need a better description. but i think the signs are colour coded, so yellow is calling for your attention and red is major. i think...

that is the esp warning light. It should go off when you turn the ignition off and back on again, unless there is something wrong with it.

Great - thanks for that! Nothing too much to worry about then though if it stays on I'll let the garage know.
