My daughter needs a copy of this for her college work, anyone know where I can get my hands on it, the closest I've found is Paintshop 8

I'm sure you can also get it legally for a couple of pounds from someone on Ebay or MicroMart (the magazine).

Sure it's 5.5? That version stopped being current about 5 years ago!

Adobe do substantial (75-80%) education discounts, which would make a copy of Photoshop around 60 quid. Usually colleges have some arrangement in place for students buy through them, or you can buy direct from a reseller - go here : www.adobe.co.uk/cgi/search_reseller.cgi and select Education on the "type of reseller".

You could download the FREEWARE Gimp.
This will open Adobe Photoshop (.PSD) files

www.gimp.org (follow the links for the windows version)

I've been using it alongside Photoshop for the past 4 years.

With regards to copying software - if someone stole your car you would'nt like it would you ?
Well why steal someone elses work (software) ?
