Roofers help please!
Discussion
I've put another small single story extension in a handy corner of our place, with a single hipped lean-to roof.
Question is what to do with the tiles at the top? Tiles are 10x6 plain tiles with bonnets down the hip. I presumed you'd finish the top row as you would before putting a ridge tile on a full roof - i.e. the last row of full tiles would have eaves tiles hung immediately over the top of those with a bit of muck, then the lead flashing go over the top of those.
Only now I've tiled all the way up I've spotted a problem - the eaves tiles would need a bonnet to make that row look complete, but a bonnet won't fit unless I chop 75% of it away...
What's the normal way of doing this bit?!
