Right! I'm still searching for 'the one', which after several trips to various jewellers has been made more difficult! smile However I noticed a thread a few days back mentioning a particular website - The thread was deleted for naming & shaming - I can understand this, but I would like some advice from members who may know or have had experience in dealing with said company.

The online company sounds a bit like 'The Handed Swatch Company' - It states on their website that they are not affilated with another company, who has the same title as a well-known Japanese tuning company wink

The discounts they offer are hard to ignore, almost hard to believe. I know that should ring bells, but surely if they were a bit 'dodgy', they would've been shut down due to complaints?

Another website looks pretty good too ... Decent discounts and looks reliable ... www.thewatchsource.co.uk - What do you think? Will the likes of Goldsmiths get close to their prices with a bit of discount?

Also, (Sorry, lots of questions before I make the purchase! Cheers for helping smile) what are your thoughts on the Tag Heuer Link Calibre S with it's electro-mechanical movement? Supposedly a hybrid of mechanical and quartz with over 230 mechanical parts and 5 micro-engines - Just begging to go wrong? Looks rather yummy though! biggrin

Cheers again! biggrin

I must admit, I don't understand how the chrono on the Link Calibre S works... I can see how it's supposed to work but the 1/10th and 1/100th sec dials must be flipping left to right while it's in motion surely?

(or are they static until you press the button, at which point they lock onto whatever increment of the second you were measuring?)
