jaguar s type air con

Hello I have a 2004 jag s type with a slight problem with the air con it blows hot on the drivers side but cold on the passenger side! anyone any ideas?

This seems to be a common problem. Try a search on jaguarforum.co.uk

I don't know about your problem, but my 2004 S-Type blows hot air until I go round a tight left hand bend, at which point it turns cold for about 2 seconds. It does it every morning on the same roundabout. Very strange!!

hahaha just spoken to jaguar dealer on the isle of man they say never heard of these issues and want £180 just to diagnose the problem!rip off or what! looks like i going to be warm for a while.

If the a/c is on and your in cooling mode there is a chance the hot water valve for the dual climate control is stuck in the on position. Also....the evaporator temp sensor which fails quite frequently here in the states can cause this same symptom and is not expensive or hard to put in.
It just snaps into the heater case.

thanks for that eon i will take a look.howether it seem to have changed a bit i have found that if i turn the passenger vent off open the two drivers the middle one is cool.but if i turn the other vent off the middle one is hot!
