I was just wondering if anyone knew how much a leather retrim of the seats in a Z4 would cost?

I priced up getting them redone in beige/champagne alcantara and it was £400-£800 a seat depending on what level of quality you wanted.

I was told that leather was cheaper and you could do a seat for £200-£300.

If it's extended black that you want, then it might be possible to swap interiors with someone who wants the champagne. Black is easier to keep looking good though, but I like champagne as it helps to keep the car cool.

Be careful of retriming the seats if you've got the heated seat option, as I'm not sure whether the elements are bonded to the leather or just 'floating'.

Black alcantara would be nice, but you might as well go the whole way and get a pair of Recaro Pole Position ABEs (the ones that use the standard seat belt) in black leather.

Ring up B-Trim in Endfield. As BMW interior specialists and retrimmers they can tell you what's what and what's not, costs, leather options (inc alcantara) and what's involved.
